Last night our annual Ladies Section Cheese & Wine evening took place at the Golf Club. Around 50 members and guests attended this fun occasion. It was a great opportunity for everyone to meet up again after the long winter months and prior to the start of the new season. The cheese and the wine were enjoyed by everyone. After the raffle, the evening was rounded off by our compere and captain Linda, with an auction of golf clubs and wine. Click on the photo below to see a selection of pictures from the evening.

As of 1st January 2010, 30 new rules and 49 amendments to rules have been published in the new Decisions of Golf book published by the R & A. The most obvious one and one that all golfers require to know is that now no relief can be obtained from a seeded divot. This comes into effect immediately.
